About Us
Mwamva Foundation was founded on September 1, 2023, by Miss Florence Hauya in response to the alarming mistreatment and neglect faced by the elderly and people living with disabilities in Malawi. Witnessing these injustices, Miss Hauya was inspired to create an organization that addresses critical needs and works towards a more equitable society.
Our Name and Mission
The name “Mwamva” reflects our commitment to listening and responding to the needs of our community. We believe that by actively listening and taking meaningful action, we can make a positive impact and create lasting change.
